The giant Japanese company ITOCHU his invested in the polypropylene honeycomb core material company, EconCore. ITOCHU has purchased 15% of the European sandwich core material company.
This is a positive sign, showing the increasing interest and promise in sandwich panels, and the materials that create these lightweight structures.
